First Post

I figured that my first post should be simple and just let you know who I am and what I am all about.,

My name is Jessica I am a 22 year old college student at Lake Superior State University. (Michigan) I am a double major, and its not because i am an over achiever, it may be due to the fact that i am not ready to leave all the fun behind.  My majors are Clinical Laboratory Science, and Forensic Chemistry, now your thinking i am a super chemistry geek, but in all honesty i hate Chemistry, its ridiculously hard, but my two majors require me to take a crap ton of chemistry, even thou the jobs i want to pursue with my degrees hardly use it. (thank goodness)  I was born in las Vegas, and moved to Wyoming shorty after, where i lived until i was 13. Michigan became my home because it was my mothers, sometimes i wonder what it would have been like if my family had stayed in Wyoming, but i am happy with my life here in Michigan.  I believe my mother made the right choose knowing something we didn't as little kids.  Family is important ex specially extended family.  My mother was ill and i did not understand the extent of it as a little girl, moving us closer to family was the right thing to do.  I was 19 when my mother passed away, (freshman in college) it proved to be the toughest time in my life, and i am glad i was surrounded by my family.  I learned so much from my mothers passing, i am a strong, responsible independent young woman, who fights for what i believe in.  I am also the first person in my family to attend college, now that's a weight on my shoulders, but i am up to the challenge!  Basically this blog will contain whatever i feel like talking about on any given day.  I will let you know that i tend to be really layed back and humorous, and i probably will offend you at some point, in advanced i am sorry but maybe you shouldn't take life so seriously, because no one gets out alive.
